Does this make you wonder? The great mystery unfolds.

Ever wonder why no one ever came forward from President Obama’s past saying they knew him, attended school with him, was his friend, etc. ?? Not one person has ever come forward from his past.

VERY, VERY STRANGE..

This should really be a cause for great concern. To those who voted for him, you may have elected an unqualified, inexperienced shadow man.

Reminds me of The Manchurian Candidate….

Let’s face it. As insignificant as we all are .. someone whom we went to school with remembers our name or face … someone remembers we were the clown or the dork or the brain or the quiet one or the bully or something about us.

George Stephanopoulos of ABC News said the same thing during the 2008 campaign. He questions why no one has acknowledged the president was in their classroom or ate in the same cafeteria or made impromptu speeches on campus.

Stephanopoulos also was a classmate of Obama at Columbia — the class of 1984. He says he never had a single class with him.
While he is such a great orator, why doesn’t anyone in Obama’s college class remember him? And, why won’t he allow Columbia to release his records?

NOBODY REMEMBERS OBAMA AT COLUMBIA !

Looking for evidence of Obama’s past, Fox News contacted 400 Columbia University students from the period when Obama claims to have been there, but none remembered him.

Wayne Allyn Root was, like Obama, a political science major at Columbia who also graduated in 1983 In 2008, Root says of Obama, “I don’t know a single person at Columbia that knew him, and they all know me. I don’t have a classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia .

EVER!

Nobody recalls him. Root adds that he was also, like Obama, “Class of ’83 political science, pre-law” and says, “You don’t get more exact or closer than that.” Never met him in my life, don’t know anyone who ever met him. At the class reunion, our 20th reunion five years ago, who was asked to be the speaker of the class? Me. No one ever heard of

Barack! And five years ago, nobody even knew who he was.

The guy who writes the class notes, who’s kind of the, as we say in New York , the macha who knows everybody, has yet to find a person, a human who ever met him.”

Obama’s photograph does not appear in the school’s yearbook and Obama consistently declines requests to talk about his years at Columbia, provide school records, or provide the name of any former classmates or friends while at Columbia ..

NOTE: Root graduated as Valedictorian from his high school, Thornton-Donovan School , then graduated from Columbia University in 1983 as a Political Science major in the same class that Barack Hussein Obama was supposed to have been in.

Some other interesting questions..

Why was Obama’s law license inactivated in 2002?

Why was Michelle’s law license inactivated by Court Order?

It is circulating that according to the U.S. Census, there is only one Barack Obama but 27 Social Security numbers and over 80 aliases.

WHAT!! ??? The Social Security number he uses now originated in Connecticut where he is never reported to have lived. No wonder all his records are sealed!

Please share this with everyone you know. Somewhere, someone knew him in school…before he “reorganized” Chicago & burst upon the scene at the 2004 Democratic Convention & made us all swoon with his charm, poise & speaking pizzazz.

Yes, it’s true. I had a sober driver and cash in hand and still decided not to attend the 2010 Starscape Festival in Fort Armistead park in Baltimore Maryland. Was it the heat? The abundance of tweakers? Or maybe I am just getting old? This year I did not feel like dealing with the dark dirty atmosphere of late night Armistead Park. I attended this festival last year and did not have much fun. It could have been the fact that I started to rage way to early and did not realize the Biscuit played until 6an. Regardless of the reasons I never did get to see the 6am sunrise “Save the Robots”.

The crew I was supposed to roll with left for the show without me. I was called everything from “pussycakes” to “have fun coating your vagina pearl”. The real kicker? My friends didn’t even get into the show. They got as far as the front gates and were told the show was sold out. Big chested dancing queens could not get in. Connected dudes with friends in the light show department could not get in. WTF?

Starscape sold out?!? Very unexpected to say the least. One of my friends heard a rumor about two people dying early afternoon but this was proven not to be the reason. Nobody died, they truly sold out the festival. Buy your tickets pre-sale next year kiddies!

The reports I received from friends that did make it into the show said there were tons of young girls in bikinis all throughout the venue. The best part of it all? There were equally as many sweaty shirtless dudes to compensate for all the lovely young ladies. Shirtless dudes really make the show! Not. And you can’t forget your usual usual sprinkling of tweakers to really make the show more interesting. Aromas of deemsterz and crack rock permeated the air. Oh yeah!

Three good friends of mind made it into the show were completely raving about the music next morning. Yes they were up all night and probably still spun but I still trust their opinion none-the-less. These guys have heard hundreds of TDB shows and had nothing but glowing comments about The Disco Biscuits performance at Starscape Festival.

Highlights of the show? One friend simply said that that jams were tight and really blended well together. His thoughts were that the “Pilin in Higher” was definitely a highlight of the evening and all the jams were pure Bisco throw down. Everyone agreed that Camp Bisco should be complete fire this year if they keep playing at this level.

Want more? Just read the Starscape threads at Phantasy Tour.com.

Thanks guys, Billy Bisco over and out.

Phish. I haven’t seen Phish is nine years. If memory serves me correctly, my last Phish show was July 3rd, 2000 at the E-Center in glorious Camden New Jersey. Back in the day I was a huge Phish fan. I was not rich enough to do entire tours but I did get to do my fair share of 4 day runs, plus I made it to all the end of the Summer Festivals.

Needless to say I was excited to see Phish for their debut show at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ. I was at Starscape Festival the night before and got no sleep the night before. I had to drive back to my place and then head to the show from there. Thankfully a few locals heading to the show offered me a ride.

View Slideshow

We got to the venue around 6:30. Our instincts took over and we headed to shakedown to check out the scene. We must have went the wrong way because we never found shakedown, but we did find short toilet lines and got the job done.

Time to head into the show. We grabbed some drinks and found a new spot on the lawn by the left of the stage. The vibe of the crowd was much different than what I recall from past years. Phish shows used to be a heavy party scene and you could tell by the people in the crowd. This crowd was older and mature, but still down to have a good time. I have been going to a lot of Biscuit shows in the past three years and it was refreshing to be at a large show with a mellower crowd with music that is not untz all night long. I love the untz, but I love Phish too.

First set highlights for me were the Fee, The Wedge, Strange Design, and First Tube. I was glad to see them start off with Chalk Dust Torture. Hearing a good First Tube live as cool because of the way Trey loops the guitar rifts. I thought the first set was great and was ready to see what was up for round two.

Set One
Chalk Dust Torture
Fee
Wolfman’s Brother
Guyute
My Sweet One
46 Days
The Lizards
The Wedge
Strange Design
Tube
First Tube

Set two and they start with jammed out funky Sand. Then played another classic, Suzy Greenberg. I like Phish slow songs and I thought it was a treat to hear The Horse > Silent in the Morning. They new song Sugar Shack was cool but the Chracater Zero into Tweezer was peak of the second set.

Set Two
Sand
Suzy Greenberg
Limb By Limb
The Horse >
Silent in the Morning
Sugar Shack
Character Zero >
Tweezer

I did not even realize that they went off the stage and came back from an encore. They played a four song encore which to me felt like a huge second set. They new song Joy was awesome and has the makings of yet another epic Phish song. The lyrics seem to come from the soul and with so much going in the life of Trey Anasatio, it just seems fitting in some way. Next up was Bouncing Round the Room and then the, in my opinion, the hottest song of the night, Run Like An Antelope. It was sick and the Tweezer Reprise ending put a cherry on the top of a perfect evening with Phish.

Encore
Joy
Bouncing Around The Room
Run Like An Antelope >
Tweezer Reprise

This weekend was full of firsts. First time at a rave. First time seeing The Disco Biscuits at Starscape Festival. First time travelling with new friends… and the list goes on. At 2pm Saturday afternoon my friends and I packed up and headed to Baltimore for the annual Starscape Festival held at the Fort Armistead Park in Maryland.

We checked in at the Sheraton and had dinner at Shula’s Steaks. The appetizers sucked but the pecan encrusted salmon I had was OK. We met our friends on the 8th floor and hopped in a taxi van. The ride only cost of $40 (*dripping sarcasm*) and we were dropped off right at the front gates. It’s time to get started!

To VIP or not to VIP? We ended up getting GA tickets (good choice) and walked through minimal security (nice). I wanted to see Pnuma Trio but they had already finished by the time we got there. I’m pretty sure that Sonkin was on stage. It was time to get drinks and check out the venue.

It started getting dark and we headed down to the beach stage for 20 20 Sound System. The band was not on yet but there was a highly entertaining hip hop duo on the stage called Oh Snap!. 20 20 Sound System came on and quickly warmed up the crowd. Our crew morphed into Baltimore’s #1 dance team and we all had a blast the entire set.

One cool part about Fort Armistead Park is how it sits directly on the water. You can sit on the edge of the rocks and watch the bay. It’s very calm and serene. Next up was Lotus. I dig Lotus a lot, but what they were playing sounded like most of the Lotus stuff I have heard in the past. I can’t name the songs but if you listen to Lotus, you will recognize these songs right away. Time to head up to the main stage to check out Chromeo. This band was very dancy and had lyrics that just seemed to get the party going in their own funky style.

Our crew wanted the Biscuits and we were getting antsy. But we knew we still had a little time to kill, so why not stick around and check out Hot Pink Deloreon? I don’t remember much of his set except that he was trying to pump up the crowd but they were just not feeling it.

Finally the Disco Biscuits came on at 1:15am. Time to rage!! First song was Uber Glue. OK, get the new song out of the way. After that was Caves of the East. I like this song but for some reason I was not feeling it. Caves of the East segued into 42, another song that I feel I heard too many times in the past year. 42 went into Abraxas and then back into the ending of 42. It sounds good on paper but the fire was just not there.

We are about mid-way through the first set and next up was Magnor’s new song, Park Avenue. Get the new songs out of the way they can deliver the untz right? The crowd wants a dance party and the band needs to deliver. Strobe Lights and Martinis was up next. I went to get drinks during this song and when I came back, they were already into Cyclone. The played Cyclone back into Strobes and Martinis and finished up the set.

My overall impression of the first set was “mehtastic” at the most.
By the time the second set rolled around, it was already 3am. I was definitely feeling the long day and needed to keep going. The second set started with Rockafella, a song I enjoy but did not think would be second set opener. They finished Rockafella and we then heard the familiar techno beginning of Caterpillar. Wonderful, it’s time to get down. The band worked through the lyrics and the first jam was throw down time. They played right into Voices and the transition was spot on. Voices went into Orch Theme and in the middle of Orch Theme is when I completely lost all my energy.

The inner custy took over and plans to leave the show early were mapped out. It was a long day and I was beat. My two friends were looking like the wanted to roll so I put it on the table. Five minutes later we said goodbye to our friends and headed out of the venue. We easily snagged a cab and headed back to the Sheraton. We had enough untz for one day and simply need to get the hell outta there.

What really sucks is the Biscuits threw down another hour and half of killer music. Too bad it all had to go down past 4:30am… well maybe not for the rest of the heads that stuck it out until sunrise.

Back at the room, all I needed was a moment of clarity to regain composure. Once that was done, I headed back to my friends room for some late night hang out action. In all I can say my first Starscape was a success. Next year will be even better when we rent our own private party boat!

It’s tough to post every day when touring (“terring”) the MidWestern United States with the Disco Biscuits. Long hours in the car, travelling to help a friends mother, and numerous other activities make up for interesting days.

The Billy Bisco crew hit up both shows at the Calvin Theater in Northampten, MA. Regardless of vast amount of custies, the show was awesome, rivalling many of the shows from the New Years Eve run. Just take a listen to the recordings on Live Archive to see for yourself.

Next stop was The Town Ballroom in Buffalo, NY. Personal agendas kept us from attending this show.

Next up was NewPort Music Hall in Columbus, OH. All we can say is… THE BISCUITS ARE ON FIRE. This is the best music we have heard from them in years. The music is tight and the crowd was loving every minute of it.

Wowzers! And onward to Majestic Theater in Madison, WI. This place is really cool. When the show was over, we added yet another incredible show to the Disco Biscuits Winter 2009 tour. Question guys: Are we ever going to hear a Shem-Rah ending?

This is just the beginning of the tour and so much quality Disco Biscuits music has already been thrown down. Everyone wanted the band to step it up for 2009 and they have.

The First Avenue is our next stop in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Not your typical place to see the Disco Biscuits but that’s why we wanted to see them at this venue. The First Avenue show was yet another inspiring night of music. The band is so on and this is seriously some of the best Disco Biscuits shows we have heard in our entire time of listening to the band. No mahldogs here! Just ask anyone who has attended any of the last shows and they will tell you it’s been absolute fire!!

A few photos from the show.

Looks like 2009 is going to be a great year of music. I just found out that Toronto based electronica trio, The New Deal, is going to be ending their Winter 2009 tour in Reading, Pennsylania. My exact reponse was… “Wow!!… these guys are coming to Reading, PA?”

A friend of mine turned me on to The New Deal about 8 years ago. He was playing their music in his car and I asked who the DJ was. My buddy told me, “this is all live man” and I was hooked ever since. I went to YouTube and dug up a a clip of The New Deal playing the Langerado Music Festival in 2008. Better believe that this kind of craziness is coming to Reading!!

Ticket price at the door is $25.00. Order your tickets online before the event and save $7.00. Pre-sale tickets to the event are available through the PlusVibes website for $18.00. This show is sure to sell out so make sure you get your tickets soon!
